Park With Confidence In Edinburgh

APCOA PARKING (UK) has again retained the safer parking award at Edinburgh Waverley Station.

The 540-space long stay barrier station car park; which is owned by Network Rail; and managed by APCOA, was awarded with a new two-year park mark award after no automotive-related crimes were reported between March 2014 and March 2015.

In his summary report, Francis Gallacher, Glasgow-based Crime Reduction Advisor Officer and Park Mark assessor, found that Edinburgh Waverley remains a well-managed facility, which continues to meet the requirements of the Safer Parking Scheme.

Mr. Gallacher also recognised APCOA’s effective use of 24-hour CCTV survelliance, which provides good coverage of the car park surface area. Pedestrian routes were also found to be well-defined, and clearly marked and signed for optimum health and safety.
